John Raymond Giddens, 68, passed away on July 24, 2014.
John was a graduate of Savannah High School and Georgia Southern College and a member of White Bluff Presbyterian Church. He was the son of the late Cecil Raymond Giddens and Jane Cramer Giddens.
John was associated with McGinty and Dye Architectural Firm before opening his own company, John R. Giddens Construction.
John is survived by his sister Ann Giddens Mann (Dick), his two sons John Cramer Giddens(Charlotte) and Sheftall LaRoche Giddens(Lindsey); his grandsons Oliver Canfield Giddens and Bennford Sheftall Giddens.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to White Bluff Presbyterian Church, 10710 White Bluff Rd., Savannah, GA 31406.
Visitation will be held Sunday, July 27, from 3 to 5pm at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
